The Supreme Committee issues several new decisions

The Supreme Committee on Friday, January 21, 2022, issued several new decisions:

  1. The capacity of employees in public establishments will be reduced to a 50% capacity. Those who are not required to be in the office should switch to remote work.
  2. Friday prayers in mosques will be halted. The 5 daily prayers will still be allowed, but only at a 50% capacity, and with social distancing.
  3. Conferences, exhibitions, and any events that involve gatherings will be postponed to a later date, or held without spectators – all establishments including restaurants, shops and event halls will be limited to a 50% capacity
