Barbershops, Beauty Salons, Gyms and others to re-open on August 26, 2020

The supreme committee has announced the re-opening of the 6th batch of business activities.

The nationwide competition of who has the worst haircut has finally come to an end. This is the news that we have all been waiting for… beauty salons and barber shops can now re-open for business starting tomorrow (Wednesday, August 26th) and so can the following:



  • Meeting rooms in hotels
  • Gyms and fitness halls
  • Laser Cosmetology in beauty salons
  • Water and jet skiing activities
  • Traditional medical clinics
  • Shops that sell or rent wedding equipment
  • Arabian camel races
  • All restaurants and cafes (not just tourist ones)
  • Beauty Salons
  • Barber shops and mens’ personal care facilities
  • The businesses above must however comply with given conditions.
