This is to clarify and settle all questions regarding the protocol on HOME QUARANTINE for overseas Filipinos – OFWs and non-OFWs.
Please be advised that all repatriated OFWs and non-OFWs are required to undergo mandatory quarantine in any government quarantine facility or hotel accredited by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), until they receive their RT-PCR test results proving them to be negative for COVID-19.
Please disregard all previous announcements regarding home quarantine for returning OFWs or non-OFWs.

The Philippine Coast Guard has announced today that returning OFWs and non-OFWs will undergo home quarantine starting June 1, 2020.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: The Sub-Task Group for the Repatriation of OFWs has announced that starting today, 01 June 2020, all OFWs, Filipino seafarers, and returning overseas Filipinos (non-OFWs) who will arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will undergo HOME QUARANTINE after their swab test administered at the airport, provided that:
1) They are residents of the National Capital Region (NCR); and
2) They will be picked up at the airport by one family member or driver with a proof of NCR residency.
They shall remain in isolation in their respective homes, following stringent health protocols while waiting for the result of their RT-PCR test for COVID-19.
