Supreme Committee issues several new decisions

The Supreme Committee issued several new decisions on October 28, 2021. The new decisions are as follows:

  • A third booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered to some target groups, which will be announced by the Ministry of Health later.
  • Children aged 5-12 will be allowed to get vaccinated starting from the first week of November.
  • Students in grades 5-11 will be allowed to return to schools at full capacity.
  • Traditional and popular markets will be allowed to resume operations, as long as they observe COVID restrictions like wearing masks and maintaining social distance.
