The OFWs must have certificates from the Philippine Red Cross and quarantine clearances to prove they have tested negative for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR testing administered by the Sub-Task Group for the Repatriation of OFWs, the PCG said.
Repatriated overseas Filipino workers who have finished their quarantine period in designated facilities and are COVID-19-free will be allowed to board ships bound for Visayas and Mindanao starting Sunday, the Philippine Coast Guard said.
Starting today, 17 May 2020, there are SHIP VOYAGES FROM MANILA TO VISAYAS AND MINDANAO provinces to ferry OFWs who have RED CROSS CERTIFICATES and QUARANTINE CLEARANCES for yielding NEGATIVE RESULTS in the RT-PCR TESTING FOR COVID-19 administered by the Sub-Task Group for the Repatriation of OFWs.
