Second PH government-funded repatriation flight scheduled on August 10

The Philippine Embassy in Muscat announces that the second Philippine government-funded repatriation flight for Filipino nationals in Oman affected by the travel restrictions for travelers to the Philippines is scheduled on 10 August 2021.

The flight details are as follows:

  • Airline: Cebu Pacific Air
  • Flight No.: 5J 29 (Muscat- Davao)
  • Departure: 1:30 PM 10 Aug 2021

Those who were called by the Embassy confirming their repatriation on 10 August are informed of the following:

TICKETS

  • Cebu Pacific Air is in the process of issuing the tickets of the confirmed passengers. A separate advisory will be issued on the matter.

RT-PCR SWAB TEST

  • All passengers are required to have negative result of an RT-PCR COVID-19 swab test done within 48 hours prior to the boarding of the aircraft. The Embassy has contracted AL BASHAYER MEDICAL CENTER to administer the free RT-PCR swab tests for passengers of the flight.
  • The free RT-PCR swab test will be done at the Ghala location of the medical center with the following address:
    Ground Floor, Majan Building Al Jamil Al Akbar Street, Ghala, Muscat (Near the Council of Administrative Affairs for the Judiciary and Al Maha Petrol Station) Mobile No.: (968) 79562064 Landline No.: (968) 24112117

  • The RT-PCR swab test will be administered on 08 August 2021 (Sunday) and will follow the following schedule based on the surname of the passengers:

Passengers are advised to be at the medical center during the appropriated schedule. Please bring your passport, travel document or resident ID card for verification of identity. For further inquiries and concern, the medical center may be reached through the provided contact details above.

  • Repatriates may also pay for their own RT-PCR swab test at any of the MOH-accredited medical facility, if it is more convenient, provided that it is taken within 48 hours prior to the boarding of the flight.
  • A copy of the test result and the MOH Travel Clearance Certificate from Al Bashayer Medical Center will be released on 09 Aug 2021, Monday, at the Philippine Embassy.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

  • The financial assistance for repatriates will be released to confirmed passengers of the flight who have NEGATIVE result for their RT-PCR swab test on Monday, 09 Aug 2021, at the Philippine Embassy. Please bring your passport, travel document or resident ID card for verification of identity.
