Philippine Embassy Consular Outreach in Salalah, December 3 and 4, 2020

The Philippine Embassy in Muscat informs the public that a Consular Outreach in Salalah will be on December 3 and 4, 2020.

Please check the schedule below:

3 December 2020 (Thursday), 3:00 PM –  6:00 PM

Only these services will be offered:

  • Overseas Voter (OV) Registration (with online appointment)
  • Release of New Passports and Other Consular Documents (with online appointment for OV Registration)

4 December 2020 (Friday), 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Consular Services

  • Passport Applications (with online appointment) for
    • Renewal
    • First-time applicants (minors)
    • Replacement of Lost or Mutilated Passport
    • Replacement of Passport due to change in personal details
  • Travel Document (with online appointment), in lieu of passport
  • Civil Registration (with online appointment) for the following:
    • Report of Birth (ROB) Report of Marriage (ROM)
    • Report of Death (ROD)
    • Consular Mortuary Certificate (for human remains to be shipped to the Philippines)

      • Certificates of Birth, Marriage and Death must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
      • Those who applied for ROB, ROM and/or ROD on 30-31 October 2020 must submit the MOFA-authenticated copies of the corresponding certificates issued by the Royal Oman Police (ROP). Otherwise, the Philippine Embassy will not forward their civil registry documents to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
  • Applications (with online appointment) for

Each and every consular service availed of requires a separate photocopy of the applicant’s passport data page. Bring as many copies as needed if availing of more than one consular service.

Labor and Welfare Services

NO SERVICES FOR THE FOLLOWING:

  • Visa applications
  • SSS or PAG-IBIG

To maintain safety and observe social distancing:

  • Applicants must book online appointments for ALL consular services they will avail of through https://bit.ly/pe-muscat-consular-appointments. They must bring the print-out of their online appointment as proof of booking.
  • Applicants must wear appropriate face masks. They are encouraged to wear face shields and gloves to enhance their personal safety.
  • Applicants who are coughing, sneezing, have runny nose, have body temperature higher than 37.5°C or show other signs of illness will not be admitted.
  • Applicants must fill in a log sheet provided by the hotel for contact tracing purposes.
  • Only applicants who brought complete documentary requirements and cash payment for the service being applied for will be allowed to proceed for payment of services. No payment is required for OV Registration or collection of new passports and other consular documents.
  • Applicants who are minors, seniors, pregnant or PWDs will be prioritized. However, they must also bring complete documentary requirements and cash payment. They must also have booked online appointments.
  • Only consular applicants will be admitted. Family members, companions, employers and PROs are not required for these services and will not be allowed entry.
  • Applicants who are minors, extremely elderly or frail are allowed to have one (1) companion to assist them. Minors, especially infants, must be accompanied by a birth parent or legal guardian.

Those who may have been exposed to COVID-19 and are undergoing quarantine are urged to remain in quarantine and not insist on availing themselves of the consular services from the Philippine Embassy Consular Outreach Team.

Applicants who have already availed themselves of passport services in Muscat may request for their new passports by sending an email, with information on their complete name, to muscatpe.consulardfa.gov.ph.

Note: Applicants must bring photocopies of their documents.
