PH Ambassador Signs Deal with Oman Hospital to Improve Healthcare for OFW in Oman

The Philippine Ambassador to Oman, H.E. Raul S. Hernandez, has signed a healthcare agreement with Oman International Hospital (OIH) to improve medical services for Filipinos in the country.

The agreement, signed with OIH CEO Marcelo Pereira, will give embassy staff and the Filipino community in Oman better access to the hospital’s modern medical services. This includes lower prices for doctor visits and treatments, as well as a special hospital contact person to help Filipinos get the care they need quickly and smoothly.

The hospital will also take part in health talks and outreach events organized by the Philippine Embassy.

This partnership highlights the close relationship between the hospital and the embassy. Both sides also aim to encourage more Filipinos to join the medical workforce in Oman. The agreement also supports the use of new medical technologies, including innovations from other countries like Iran.

The Philippine Embassy believes this step will help improve the health, visibility, and support for Filipinos living in Oman.
