Motorists have to pay RO2 for staying over ten minutes at the Muscat International Airport, Oman Airports announced on Sunday.

In a tweet, Oman Airports stated that upon entering the said lanes for dropping off and picking up passengers at the departure and arrival gates of Muscat airport, drivers will need to take a ticket. “At the exit, the duration will be identified and if it is more than ten minutes, one has to pay RO2. The system came into effect from Sunday, February 10. The first ten minutes is free. After this, RO2 will be charged every ten minutes.
