Introducing the OWWA Member Mobile App

With the technology that we have nowadays, most of our records and other related information about us are online and we like it if those are easily access by us using our mobile phones. The answer is a mobile app. Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) can now pay their Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) fee through their smartphones, after the agency upgraded its mobile application.

The OWWA mobile app on Google Playstore (for now, iOS may come soon) now allows members to pay their biannual $25 membership fee in the absence of an OWWA office in their host country.

OWWA members are entitled to avail of loans, acquire TESDA scholarship, and avail of livelihood and entrepreneurship seminars and other reintegration programs upon their return.

In addition to this service, OFWs may also use the app to check their employment contract information, membership status, payment history and member beneficiaries.

They may also use the app to familiar themselves about the services of OWWA, such as disability, dismemberment, and death benefits; seafarers upgrading program; skills for employment scholarship program; information technology training program; and OFW Enterprise Development and Loan program.

OWWA contact details, such as hotline numbers, email address, and regional office address, are also available on the app.

This mobile app is free of charge and is available on Google Playstore for android-operated mobile phones Apple Store for iOS devices.

Check out the video below for more detailed information about the app.
