Online registration website of the National ID experienced technical difficulties

The website of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) experienced “technical difficulties” on the first day of the online registration for the National ID.

In an advisory, the agency said its technical team was working to resolve the issue.

“We will provide updates as soon as the website is up and running. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” it said.

The National Economic and Development Authority earlier said that the online system will collect the demographic information of applicants for the National ID.
