Oman Air increases baggage allowance to 50 KG on flights to Philippines

Having your annual vacation during the Christmas season in the Philippines is one of the most happiest moment in the life of OFW. We will surely enjoy the warm celebration with our family.

In what could be good news for those who will travel the coming days, national airline, Oman Air has announced increased baggage allowance on flights from Muscat to India and the Philippines until December 15.

“Oman Air already offers a generous allowance of two bags per person weighing up to 30kg in total, but guests flying between Muscat and the following Indian cities can now take advantage of an increased allowance of 40kg for two bags: Mumbai, Kochi, Chennai, Delhi, Trivandrum, Calicut Hyderabad and Bangalore,” said a statement from Oman Air on Sunday.

Guests flying between Muscat and Manila, the capital of the Philippines, can take advantage of an increased allowance of 50kg for two bags.

Jamal Al Azki, Country Manager, Oman said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our valued guests an increased luggage allowance on flights from Muscat to Manila and eight cities in India. The Philippines and India are both popular destinations for the corporate and leisure markets and those visiting friends and family, and we know how helpful it is to all our customers to be able to travel with extra luggage or at least have the option to make use of it. This new initiative is an example of how we are always striving to make life easier for our guests. We hope many people will take advantage of the offer.” – Y-Oman
