Official Eid Al Adha 2018 holidays announced

Despite with the frenzy of the announcement yesterday that was circulated in social media and later on was taken down and corrected that there is no official announcement yet on the Eid Al Adha holidays.

Here we are with the official dates of holidays of Eid Al Adha…

Holidays for the government sector will begin from Sunday, August 19 and will end on Thursday, August 23. Taking the weekend into consideration, work will resume on the following Sunday, August 26, according to Oman News Agency. Meanwhile, holidays for the private sector will also begin on Sunday, August 19, and work will resume on August 26, the Ministry of Manpower announced.

According to the online statement, “The holiday will begin from Sunday, August 19 and will end on Thursday, August 23. Official working hours shall resume on Sunday, August 26, 2018.”
