The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has increased the passenger cap at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to 4000 a day.
During the public briefing #laginghanda on Friday, November 5, 2021 CAB Exec. Dir Arcilla says there was a flight downturn in the previous months due to the Delta variant outbreak: Iyong July, ang ganda noon, naka 666,000 passengers ang NAIA during that month.
CAB Exec.
– CAB Exec. Dir Arcilla
Civil Aeronautics Board executive director Carmelo L. Arcilla hopes the govt will further increase the daily cap for international passenger arrivals: “Umaasa tayo na sa susunod na linggo, tumaas pa ito, maging 5,000 or even more.”
