Oman National Transport Company (Mwasalat) will launch the Al-Azaiba – Bausher route (12B) on Friday, June 8, 2018 in Muscat as part of the company’s efforts to provide a sustainable public transport network that facilitates mobility for all using a safe and convenient transport method.
The service will start from Athaiba bus station covering Athaiba Bridge, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, Bausher Pedestrian Bridge, College of Financial Banking Studies (CFBS), Modern College of Commerce and Science, Oman Medical College, Muscat Private Hospital and Muscat College, Bausher.
The bus will then follow the same route on its return journey.
Buses will be available every 30 minutes from 6 am on weekdays and public holidays. Passengers can buy tickets on board. Passengers arriving from Maabela (Route 1) can get off at Athaiba Bridge and then proceed to the other stop at NBO HQ stop opposite Bank Muscat for route 12B, if they wish to go to Royal Hospital or Bausher. Passengers arriving from Ruwi (Route 1) can get off at Athaiba Bridge and then proceed to the stop at NBO opposite Bank Muscat for route 12B to visit Royal Hospital.
