Lockdown to be lifted, reduced night curfew hours to continue

The Supreme Committee in charge of dealing with COVID-19 pandemic on Wednesday announced lifting the travel ban between governorates from August 8. The night curfew hours have also been reduced and the movement will now be stopped from 9pm to 5am. The new timing will come into effect from August 8.

The lockdown of Dhofar Governorate will continue till further notice, the committee decided.

The ban on inter-governorate travel will be lifted from 6am on Saturday, August 8, while night curfew hours will now be from 9pm to 5am till August 15.
