Filipino among 17 victims of Dubai bus crash

A Filipino national who was working in Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan as a Physical Therapist was among the 17 people who died in the horrific bus crash in Dubai, an official confirmed.

The Mwasalat bus from Muscat, Oman, crashed onto a height barrier in Dubai on Thursday, June 6, killing 17 of the 31 people on board.

Among the reported fatalities were 12 Indians, two Pakistanis, an Omani, and Irish national, and a Filipino. A German citizen was also reportedly on board the ill-fated bus.

Meanwhile, as reported by Filipino Times that the remains of the lone Filipino fatality in the road mishap Thursday evening that left 17 people dead and five critically injured is now at the Dubai Police Headquarters’ morgue awaiting positive identification by her brother who will be arriving from Oman.
