Expatriates with expired work permits have been urged to make use of the exit-scheme issued by the government before December 31, 2021, the Ministry of Labour said on Monday.
In a statement issued, the Ministry said those expatriates who are benefiting from the grace period must leave before January 31, 2022.
The statement says: “The Ministry informs all employers and expatriate workforce wishing to leave to take advantage of the remaining period, which will end on 12/31/2021, as applications received after this date will not be considered. The expatriate workforce benefiting from the grace period should leave within a maximum period of 31/1/2022.”
