Czech Republic offers 1,000 jobs without placement fee to Filipino Workers


More than 1,000 jobs in the Czech Republic can now be applied by Filipinos, according to a recruitment agency.

According to the recruitment agency EDI-Staff builders International, Inc., warehouse workers, repair and debug operators, and butchers are some of the jobs that are open for hiring in the Czech Republic.

The agency said the Czech Republic was looking for workers because of their labor force.

Czech Republic prefer to have an employee who are Filipinos

“They love the Filipinos because the Filipinos are really well-known as very hard workers. It’s a good thing, we have the capability of English language” said Cesar Averia Jr., president and CEO of the recruitment agency.

Aspiring applicants will have to prepare for the application process.

In addition to being fluent in English, it is often necessary to have three to four years of experience. If previously an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), police clearance is needed in all countries. The applicant’s passport must also be valid for two years.

It will be a success if you manage to pass because the salary offer is from $600 and up for the regular employees.

There will be no placement fee and the employer will also provide accommodation and transportation expenses for the qualified worker. There are also other employers who offer food allowance.

With data from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), it appears that more than 1,000 active job vacancies are available in the Czech Republic.

However, POEA reminds that the deployment of direct hiring or your non-recruitment agency is prohibited.

This is because there is still a need for a bilateral labor agreement between the Philippines and the Czech Republic.

The Philippines is now in a hurry because of the abuse of OFWs abroad.

“As much as possible, we do not allow deployment of workers to a labor-receiving country without a bilateral labor agreement or any mutual agreement where the full protection of our workers is,” said POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia.

The POEA and the Philippine Embassy are studying the possibility of a wider deployment in the Czech Republic
