In a heartfelt announcement, OWWA extended its warmest congratulations to its outstanding scholars who have emerged victorious in one of the country’s most competitive licensure exams.

“Binabati namin ang ating mga natatanging iskolar na matagumpay na nakapasa sa May 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination! Bunga ito ng inyong sipag, tiyaga, at dedikasyon sa pag-aaral. Ang buong pamunuan ng OWWA ay taus-pusong nakikigalak sa inyong tagumpay at patuloy na sumusuporta sa inyong paglalakbay bilang mga bagong bayani sa larangan ng kalusugan. A Victory Rooted in OWWA’s Scholarship Programs

This remarkable milestone is closely tied to OWWA’s key scholarship initiatives, particularly the Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) and the OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP). These programs have played a pivotal role in enabling children and dependents of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to access quality education, empowering them to pursue high-demand professions such as nursing.

EDSP provides financial assistance to qualified dependents of active OWWA members who intend to enroll in a four- or five-year baccalaureate course.

ODSP supports the dependents of OFWs with a financial grant for post-secondary education.
